Discuss The Knowledge

Just finished a first reading of The Knowledge obtained at the local library. An excellent book that should be required reading for grade schools. One thing I picked up on before reading this book was that the Vikings were using calcite crystals for navigation in the far north long before the compass, no worries about magnetic interference.
