Good afternoon all,

I am an amateur astronomer whose main interests is comets. However planets around other stars, exoplanets, are being discovered by the dozen and we are getting to the stage where Earth sized planets can be detected. Sooner or later, if our civilisation is to survive, we are going to move away from Earth to one such planet. For the non-astronomers this is because our Sun will eventually run out of hydrogen, another 4.5 billion years to go, and grow dramatically in size and we won't survive. Much has been written about starships that might take us to an exoplanet but precious little on how we would survive once we get there. This book is thus very relevant to that aspect of interstellar travel.

Hi, Roger!
What do You think about the actually planned Mission to Mars?
Do they really have a chance to survive and build up a Mars Civilisation?
