Howdy

Well my name is Mike, and I'm a fan of apocalyptic/post-apoc stuff, as well as DIY things, making and re-purposing items for other projects.

I haven't yet finished The Knowledge, but I'm a huge fan of it so far. As I said I'm a fan of making things, and the whole surviving an apocalyptic situation, so this book is right up my alley.

There are many things that I've read so far in the book that discuss how to make a few neat items that I'd like to try out myself also, so if/when I get to some of those projects I'll be sure to make some posts on them.

Cheers everyone, and thank you Lewis for writing such an interesting and thought provoking book.

(ps, if there was ever to be an awesome tv show/documentary where people attempt to rebuild, like is discussed in the book, please let me know! I'd love to test myself and see if I have what it takes to really rebuild our society lol)

Hi Mike, thanks for that!
Actually, I've heard of a new FOX TV series called Utopia that's coming out this Fall http://www.fox.com/utopia/ and you might be able to apply for the next series of that? http://utopiatvcasting.com/
