Read me first

Let's say in a hypothetical scenario that you have a ten minute warning that the world as we know it is about to end. What five things would you attempt to recover to take into your apocalypse-proof bunker, to aid in the efforts to rebuild after everything has been wiped-out? What objects do you think would be most useful when starting again from scratch? Would you take tools, or books, or music, or perhaps something of emotional significance?

Please add your thoughts below as separate posts in the forum, rather than replying to this 'Read me' introduction.

no list can encompass everything

My "list" would be to improve and enhance past era re-enactment communities such as Colonial Williamsburg, Old Sturbridge Village, Plimouth Plantation, etc.
Part of the improvement would be year around demonstrations and workshops with lots of hands-on
