Dear Friends,

since the last Weeks i thought about how to make the Knowledge Projekt more relevant and helpful for those Millions of People on this Earth who have no Possibility to get Education because of Poorness, the Failing of their States and the Scratch of their Education Systems.

In my Eyes it is a Waste of Time to think about how to build a new Civilisation on a strange Planet while we fail to bring Knowledge how to save us and our Planet to those Millions of young Brains who are existentially in Need for it today!
Or how to rebuild the Civilisation from Scratch instead of preventing it from Scratch by the best possible Education for Everyone!

Just yesterday Malala Yousefzai gets the Nobelprice of Peace for driving the Attention of the World to the bitter Fact that every Day Children are cut off from Education because they are poor, they live in War Areas, or because they are Girls, discriminated by religious Fanatism.

In Spring, Malala visited a Camp of Syrian Refugees in Jordania, pointing at all the Children, who could not go to School:
http://amanpour.blogs.cnn.com/2014/02/1 ... -children/

In Nigeria, Boko Haram Terrorist kidnapped hundreds of Girls and destroy Schools to fight against modern Education.

In Iraq the IS Terrorists are destroying the Education System of a whole State and murder all the People who try to get Education which the terrorists are not willing to tolerate.

THIS is the "Scratch of Civilisation" we should fight against every Day!

How to do that?

First Step could be the Popularisation of the Knowledge Project specially in those Areas witch are most in Need for it.
Therefore it is necessary to translate the Book into more Languages, f.e. Pashtu, Dari, Hindu, Arabic and some common african Languages.

Second Step: making an Abstract available online, optimised for reading on mobile Phones for Areas, in which it is too expensive or too dangerous to spread Books.
And for Areas without available Internet for most People, where the spreading of modern Knowledge is under Pressure from his Enemies, creating subversive Methods for educating for example girls in the safe Privacy of their Homes, maybe by solar-powered Broadcasting or using the Packaging/Surface of widespread products to transport Info-Pieces or something else...

Third Step: inviting all Readers to join into the Project, telling us what they are really in Need for to know, and their own Solutions which they want to share - because the Knowledge Project is NOT a One-way-street!

Fourth Step: identifying the most important international and local Institutions and NGOs for strategic Co-Working and precising the special service the Knowledge Project could do to support our Goals.

Fivth Step: identifying or constructing concrete Projects which will have the biggest Impact on a secure and affordable scientific and humanistic Education for all People.

Sixth Step: evolving Methods for the Evaluation of all the Projects and Methods for to increase the Effectivity and the Benefits of the Knowledge Project.
One Example: Ebola forced all involved States and NGOs to bring basic Knowledge about Hygiene to a complete uneducated Population as fast as possible.
Maybe an Evaluation of this Efforts would give important Informations about which Methods of Education are most effective and how to use them best for the next Challenges.

And for getting Power to realise all that, Step Zero has to be checking how to bring up all the needed material and intellectual ressources.

(I wrote this Text without a Dictionary at Hand. If I made big Mistakes, You may correct them, please.)

URGENT!
The so-called "Islamic State" is on the way to destroy most themes of education in the area he rules:
All scientific topics like maths, physics, chemistry, biology, and social topics like sociology, history and all arts should be abandoned,
presented to the scholars in a mutilated form which do not appears as contrary to "gods will":

Dear Lewis!
The collapse of Knowledge is not a far apocalypse - it happens now every minute!
Thousands and thousands of young people are cut off from elementary knowledge of mankind!

We need "The Knowledge" in arabic language as soon as possible!!!

Two german students in Berlin founded an barriere-free online-university for refugees worldwide: the Kiron University!

It will be a bridge to overcome adminitrative obstacles to join regular universities like unconforme qualifying documents, language barriers and finance...
It is based on moocs-online-courses for two years, preparing the student to join a regular university study on a higher level.
It is until now financed by crowd-funding, but there is the expection, states will overtake the finance because of the public benefits of this qualifying way.

Some european states, education institutions and humanistic NGO implemented the programm
"PEARLS" = Preventing Early School Leaving Through Inclusive Approaches":

http://www.pearls-erasmus.eu/

It will support the capability of schools and teachers to integrate scholars with problems like handicaps or migration history to help them continue their education until they get a qualified degree.

A BBC-report about the second-biggest refugee-camp (after Dadaab in Somalia):
Zaatari in Jordania:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-23801200

It is evolving to one of the biggest cities in Jordania and the next refugee city is planned: Azraq.
Managing those camp-cities is a challenge most similar to "rebuilding the world from scratch" in reality today, i guess...
So its up to us to collect and document as much experiences as possible about jobs like this!

Soon, states leader will gather to review the archivements of the "Millenium Goals" and debate about the further concepts.

One important element is the "Global Partnership fo Education" GEP:

http://www.globalpartnership.org/about-us

One goal of this partnership between about 60 countries and several international and NG Organisations had been until now:
- nine years school education for every child in the world!

This is not reached until now special for childs in conflict areas and special for girls.
The gender gap in education is still a scandal!

The famous Nobelprice-for-Peace women Malala Yousefzai now makes a petition to the GEP for increasing its efforts and to set a more ambitioned goal:

"Twelve Years of Education for any girl and young Woman on the World!"

Please support this goal #withmalala and join the petition! (Sorry, i get the change.org-petition automatic in german only - could somebody be so friendly and add the english version?)
